GSG Client Showcase: City of Marathon

Since 2001, Government Services Group has assisted the City in the development, implementation and annual maintenance of various capital infrastructure special assessment programs, including stormwater, wastewater, solid waste, road improvement programs. In addition, GSG has also assisted the City with the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program(s).

Stormwater and Wastewater Services

GSG is hired to assist the City with updating stormwater and maintaining the annual assessment programs for all of the City’s wastewater service areas (including LV, service areas 4 & 6 and service areas 1,2,3,5 & 7).

CDBG Program Administrator

Allocation: $727,000

Government Services Group is hired to oversee sewer connections for low-income households. As Program Administrator for the City’s Small Cities CDBG program, GSG provides: environmental clearance services, assistance with procurement of contractors, homeowner qualification, preparation of homeowner documents for deferred payment loans, project tracking and contractor monitoring, financial tracking of grant expenditures, preparation for and attendance at funding agency audits and prepare and submit budget modifications.
